Intaka Island, 24-11-2008

We went on a very enjoyable walk around the island. We took lots of photographs of birds.

The bird islands are great.

Many nests of mostly Ibis.

Other birds seen were:

• Herons

• Egrets

• Darter

• White-breasted Cormorants

• Reed Cormorants

• Egyptian Geese

• About 10 Whiskered Terns are still around

• The daisies are blooming. The sun is shining and there is no wind for a change.

• Five Egrets just flew by.

• A Caspian Tern is diving into the lake.

• About seventy Pelicans arrived.
